Gatlinburg will be open for business this FRIDAY!!!

by Millie

The City of Gatlinburg has officially announced the date it is planning to reopen for business. We have all been patiently awaiting for this news as our area continues to bounce back and recover from the recent wildfires.

We are excited to announce that the City of Gatlinburg will reopen to the public on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 7:00 a.m.

Major roadways will be open to the general public, but there will be some city roadways may remain closed for construction and utility work. Don’t worry, though – this won’t affect your vacation plans at all! Everything you know and love about the Gatlinburg area will be opening back up to serve you – and we’re all excited to see you visiting again!

Just love the pancakes at the Village Panckes House, breakfast at the new place in town that has a roaring fireplace, the donuts and coffee at the Friars.
We love supporting the Park store and the Artist Village, especially collecting hand crafted mugs at Allwains Pottery.
