Despite only having opened in 2014, this restaurant has quickly established itself as one of the top breakfast spots in the Smokies. What sets Sawyer’s apart from the rest is their delicious homemade syrups. The peanut butter syrup, in particular, is absolutely incredible!

4. Crockett’s Breakfast Camp

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp is another relative newcomer who has taken the Smoky Mountain restaurant scene by storm. With its rustic interior and fun mountain atmosphere, Crockett’s is a great place for breakfast with the whole family. Instead of ordinary pancakes, this restaurant makes delicious “griddle cakes” that are extra large and extra thick. Highlights of the menu include the Cinnamon Roll Swirl Pancakes and the Hogs in a Blanket Pancakes.

5. Reagan’s House of Pancakes

If you’ve got a mighty appetite, you can’t go wrong with Reagan’s House of Pancakes! This hometown favorite is famous for its excellent breakfast buffet. Featuring pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and made-to-order eggs, this buffet never disappoints. Reagan’s also has an expansive menu with a variety of great pancakes in case you’re not in the mood for a buffet.
